Life doesn’t always unfold the way we expect it to. Sometimes we walk through seasons of pruning, pressing, and refining.  These times of preparation can often feel like punishment.

Nicole shared her deeply personal story of discovering she was pregnant at nearly 40, only to face miscarriage weeks later. In the middle of grief, God reminded her that what feels like loss is serving to shape, refine, and create something new.

Through worship, Scripture, and surrender, she realized:

  • God is always good, even when we’re broken.

  • His presence is more important than answers.

  • We can trust Him “even if He doesn’t” move the way we hope.

When tragedy comes, we have a choice: give in to misery or cling to God’s presence. Look for His hand in small reminders—sometimes even in simple shapes like hearts. These are signs that He sees you, loves you, and is with you.

Action Step: This week, look for the “hearts” in your own life—reminders of God’s goodness. Share one with a friend as a testimony of His faithfulness.
